This section applies when a user of Life Period Tracker Calendar voluntarily connects the app to HUAWEI Health through Health Service Kit. The app and Data Controller are operated by GAFAR STUDIOS OU. Connecting HUAWEI Health is optional. Refusing or withdrawing this authorization does not prevent the user from using the app’s basic features that do not depend on HUAWEI Health data.
Service/SDK: HUAWEI Health Service Kit (Health Service Kit)
Provider: Huawei Software Technologies Co., Ltd. and the relevant Huawei entity serving the user’s region.
Purpose: To allow the user, with explicit authorization, to import supported health and fitness data from HUAWEI Health into Life Period Tracker Calendar and, for data types for which write access is authorized, to synchronize user-entered data back to HUAWEI Health.
Life Period Tracker Calendar requests only the HUAWEI Health permissions required for the features selected by the user. Depending on the permissions granted, the app may process:
The app does not use HUAWEI Health data for advertising, credit, employment, insurance eligibility or unrelated profiling. HUAWEI Health data is not used to train artificial-intelligence models.
Before any HUAWEI Health data is accessed, the app presents a connection screen explaining the integration and then opens Huawei’s authorization interface. Access occurs only after the user gives explicit consent. The user may leave individual permissions unselected. Features that do not require a declined permission remain available; only the corresponding data-dependent feature may be unavailable or display a request to authorize that permission.
The legal basis for this processing is the user’s explicit consent. The user may withdraw that consent at any time.
HUAWEI Health is responsible for data stored in the user’s HUAWEI Health account and cloud environment under the user’s HUAWEI ID. Life Period Tracker Calendar may keep a limited on-device cache of data obtained from HUAWEI Health so that the authorized features can be displayed and synchronized. Life does not operate a separate backend database for HUAWEI Health records and does not upload HUAWEI Health health records to a Life-operated server.
Authorization tokens are stored using encrypted secure storage on the device. Communications with Huawei services use encrypted HTTPS connections. Access is limited to the permissions explicitly granted by the user. Production logs are designed not to include personal health payloads.
On-device HUAWEI Health data is retained only for as long as necessary to provide the connected features, comply with applicable law and resolve security or integrity issues. When the user disconnects HUAWEI Health or revokes authorization, Life stops making Health Service Kit API calls. The user may also request access, export or deletion using the contact details in this policy. Data retained by Huawei is governed by the user’s HUAWEI Health account settings and Huawei’s applicable privacy terms.
Life does not sell HUAWEI Health data. Data is exchanged with HUAWEI Health only after the user’s explicit connection and authorization. Life does not disclose HUAWEI Health data to another third party unless the user separately and explicitly requests a sharing feature, such as sharing selected cycle information with a partner, or disclosure is required by law.
Life does not transfer HUAWEI Health records from the device to Life-operated servers in another country. Processing carried out independently by Huawei is subject to Huawei’s applicable terms, infrastructure and regional privacy notices. If Life introduces a cross-border transfer of HUAWEI Health personal data in the future, it will provide the legally required notice, safeguards and separate explicit consent before the transfer; any such option will not be selected by default.
Users can disconnect the integration inside Life Period Tracker Calendar by going to Profile > Settings > HUAWEI Health > Health Kit > Disconnect. Users can also revoke the app’s authorization in HUAWEI Health through the account access or data sharing and authorization controls. After revocation, Life stops accessing HUAWEI Health data and may ask the user to authorize again if they later choose to reconnect.
If the global HUAWEI Health Kit privacy switch is turned off, Life detects that the service is unavailable and prompts the user to re-enable the switch before connected features can resume.
HUAWEI Health Service Kit and Life Period Tracker Calendar are not medical devices. Health data, predictions, charts and Health Insights are provided for personal information and general wellness reference only. They must not be used as a basis for medical diagnosis, treatment or emergency decisions. Users should seek advice from a qualified healthcare professional regarding medical concerns.
